Self-portrait of artist reviled by the Nazis to sell for €29m

A self-portrait by Max Beckmann is projected to smash the record for an artwork sold at auction in Germany, with an estimate of up to €29 million. Hergen Wöbken, an economist and art market expert from Berlin, said the auction was an “outstanding” moment for Germany.
